Konashi-ya
This is a historical minshuku (private home/inn providing lodging for travelers) run by a farm family which has prospered in this town since olden times. Not only do they sell various kinds of fruits and vegetables at the roadside market, but also serve meals at the restaurant next door. At the inn you can experience making rice cakes with a stone mortar and a mallet all year round. Rice harvesting, potato digging and making jam with blueberries you pick yourself are also offered as field work activities. More activities are planned for the future as the facility is being expanded. Visit here if you want to try the best fresh local food!
